03:37 am - 21? 21 years wasted?
Well, I am 21 at the stroke of midnight, another day goes on, another breath I take. At 21 the big deal is you are able to go out drinking and all that shit legally, well, I never really had a urge to drink besides during a bout' of depression, and even that was not bad. So what does 21 entail in my mind... able to party if I ever wanted to without worry, able to relax with a drink without worrying. Lastly, what does 21 mean in the long run? Nothing, absolutely nothing. I think about the same things, I breath the same air, I live with the same doubts, and at the same lights I still have the numerous things that make me happy so that is what it comes down to. Simple cards come in the mail with birthday wishes of a happy day, however, what really keeps me happy anymore. And it is not for the present for I am the happiest I have ever been, but for the most part I worry about my past, looking back and wondering what the point of that was. I hope to be able to help people, for it is what I like to do. Finally I am able to live my life the way I chose, smile without a frown hidden under the skin, but does that mean that those oh so poetic years of sorry and doubt were nothing, that I worried about nothing? I do not know. What does the future hold? Everyone wants to know, I just wonder many things, being older I have to come to the realization that maybe the happy cheery persona I keep and try and maintain been false dream. I try and get angry or upset and it feels wrong, life gets very confusing and I do not know what to do. all I can hope are the next 21 are better than the ones that came before it. *sigh* confusion and doubt shall rot my mind until there is nothing left I fear, however it is due to lys, and that truely is the main reason that I can look at myself without doubt, I can smile when I see me, because I see the me I want to see, the me I know is there. Not the one people built up, so yes, life is good, but the past shall always to some extent haunt me, and I do not care who reads thing, for this is me at my purest, the fear and doubt shows the weakness of my heart. But for those who can really understand what I am saying the bravery I show twards the future and to what may come shows it's strength. My entries keep on being the ramblings of a confused person. So many thoughts collide in my head I do not know what to do at times. All I can do is stide forward, into the new day, and before too long into the real world.

Ok, it has been quite a while since I updated. This may end up being rather long, so my apologies to any ADHD readers such as myself.
Summer was ok, I am glad it is over, and with a few occurrences without incident. Now that I have left, I guess all has gone to hell down there. Steve the big boss quit/promoted/demoted depending on how you think of it. Needless to say he is just gone, and they are trying to cover for him being gone. Of course I am glad he is gone, for it means that perhaps we can get a more involved boss there.
During the summer I went on a ton of trips with my girlfriend, who is doing quite well. I love her with all my heart and she just makes me smile, end of story there to all who do not want to read a mushy love story. First week of vacation I spent an entire week with her and her friends alone at Southwick beach, which was really fun. Everything from walking the beach to singing at the campfire happened... and oh how fun were the drenching days when we had to put together any 1's we had to get firewood. Good times my friend. The photos are all up on webshots on this trip. How she dealt with me for a whole week without losing hair and killing me in my sleep I do not know, I still do not know how she puts up with my snoring, but that is another story.
Now, Lys is obsessed with relay for life and such. Honestly I do not mind, it makes life interesting and it is a good thing to get involved in the community. We did a few bake sales at her old high school, Notre dame, quite interesting (it's a catholic high school, which I have never seen before). Lys got quite a few donations for it, and she kept trying to get me to get a taste for tomato pie.
Tomato Pie: (definition) a pizza with no cheese for the most part, or toppings, only a special sort of tomato paste. Some call it marinara pie, others call it cold pizza, don't ask... it's a Utica thing apparently.
It was pretty good, and well, it sold the best during these fund raisers. Weird Utica people no doubt. At the end of this we pulled off a huge fund raiser for relay that was a comedy show. It went ok, but no one went to it, therefore making it a bust, and the owner of the establishment forced us to give him most of the profits. We raised a few inquires about his business practices, yet nonetheless, he went under a few weeks after the show, so though it was a bust we made a profit, and in a twisted good way, the joint we were at (the Kit Kat club or something) stopped the constant ripping off of people and such.
Relay for life was ok, our team of Lys' friends and I went ahead and raised over $1,000 which was really good considering we were the youngest group to participate. It was fun, however it was the coldest weekend and it was raining so Lys, I and few of her friends got sick, but when we were out walking the track for hours on end it was a enlightening experience. It hit me when lys was writing on the wall to her decided grandparent who had cancer how important this was to her and everyone involved, needless to say I think we got a lot closer because of it.
The summer went by very uneventful for me, however for lys she had her dog put down, Cody, the first dog I ever met that did not scare me every time I got near him. Poor loving puppy (not really a puppy, but she calls him her puppy because she had him from when she was a kid).
She is trying to now figure out where to go for school, she has many more years because she needs a masters [Word wants me to change it to “a master” and as far as I know she is not into that ;-) ] . Darn psychologists have so long to go for school, and for her I feel sorry for her because it will be so long I could not take it all in a straight run, but hopefully she will do fine. With her GPA, the colleges we visited told her basically just worry about dorming assignments ;-).
I was supposed to be able to get internships over the summer, but Syracuse sucks because there is no job market for me there, so I ended up working at target again. I was all set to go to philmont scout camp, but for various reasons I decided not to go. It is an experience that I wish I can have in the future, I miss my camping days. Luckily they say if I want I can get in next year.
The summer other than that was pretty much uneventful, spending time with Lys, or working at target. God they never have a steady schedule. Due to many things I decided that I should quit world of warcraft, it got to expensive by the end.
Thinking... Thinking... Thinking...
Dork Moment: I got a new compy, hehe, I made it myself. It is a kick ass machine, however it turned out to be more expensive than planned because I future proofed it a bit more. New HD, X2 4200+ AMD CPU, 2 GB Ram, good mobo, 2 DVD-+RW, and many old parts I scrounged from my old dell. Hehe, bye bye for now old compy.
In the middle of the summer I get a e-mail from my school, there was a firing of the chair of the telecom department... SHIT I am thinking... there goes:

So now I am trying to figure everything out and it is kinda hell but luckily:

So right now the only thing I am worried about is graduating somewhat on time, god help me.
My long depression has finally began to go away, or I can say now I am no longer a depressed kid most of the time. Granted I get into fits of it where I just shy away from everyone, it has for the most part gone away, that my friends all say is a very good thing. :-)
I am turning 21 soon, I got 2 people who want to get me a few drinks at a bar, and one person who wants to get me trashed... lol, I will stick to the former, thank you very much.
I am back at college and back into the swing of things, I love it here, it is for the most part stress free, and I can deal with people when i want to, and can retract into my room when I need to cool down or just chill. Something I can not get for the most part at home, but that is not unusual.
I gotta stop these random Wally-world trips... Soda, Robosapiens, and blue brothers movies are gonna kill me, or at least my budget. :-) at least I got dating income now :-). Now I can save up a little bit for something special for my girl.
I got some new friends up here at IT, and for the most part they are cool, weird, but cool. Many trips to Herkimer CC, and 2 AM Walmart runs later we are all exhausted and need sleep.
I got a lava lamp in my room, I can stare at it for hours.... *whee*
Recently, Lys' hyper friend Brighd and Sara both have their boyfriends in the area, so we are setting up small group dates. I had one with Brighd and Anthony, it was very fun, lots of picking on Elyssa. Now we are trying to set one up with Brighd, Sara and Us, it should be lots of fun... more picking on Lys ;-).
Life is looking better than ever, I got the best GF, a bunch of good friends and my mindset is back to the way it should be after over 7 years.
This weekend I believe I will go donate blood, but god only knows how that will go... I still hate needles. :-{

10:55 am - Bad news...
Now... I got some bad news the other day that nearly tore me apart. Elyssa, my girlfriend told me she was moving away, needless to say I was stunned and crushed. As I sat there, my jaw dropped and frozen stiff, I hear 2 words come out of her mouth "April Fools!" God Damn was I pissed, I forgot it was april 1st, and damn did she play the part well, as I played the fool. Gah, I swear I was ready to kill her when that happened, but she got me good, what can I say. I am always someone's april fool, at least this time it was all in fun, and Lys will learn, payback is a bitch. Oy, why do I love her so :-D
